very great band deserves a great tribute band and British heavy metal icons Iron Maiden are no exception. If not the most famous heavy metal band of all time, Iron Maiden is certainly one of the biggest metal acts and they’re still going strong. The Swedish tribute band Made in Iron focuses primarily on Iron Maiden’s so called classic era. With a solid set based largely upon the Live after Death and the Maiden England albums, they mix it up perfectly with other Iron Maiden masterpieces. Though the set list focuses on this classic era, that doesn’t mean that there aren’t surprises in every show with a constantly changing set list. Made in Iron are highly dedicated and professional in their tribute.
These are the songs with which they grew up and they faithfully perform them accurately with every single note in place from the beginning to the end. This is not a roughly put together tribute; this is high class performance. Playing for Iron Maiden’s hardcore fans from clubs all over and as headline acts at official pre and post parties for Iron maiden’s arena tours in London, Stockholm, Gothenburg, Berlin, fans say that they have seen no better tribute band throughout the years than Made in Iron. That says it all: Made in Iron is one of the truly best bands there is and, just because they’re from Sweden, that doesn’t mean they need to stay just within the borders of Sweden.
